Hurricane Milton update –

LAST CHANCE TO EVACUATE

Good morning, St. Pete-Clearwater Partners –

Anticipating possible life-threatening storm surge and impact as Hurricane Milton nears our community, Pinellas County officials are urging everyone to take seriously the mandatory emergency evacuation of Zones A, B and C.

Information on available shelters can be found at https://pinellas.gov/emergency-information/public-shelters/.

The State of Florida is offering free shuttles to shelters. Reservations are not required. More information at FloridaDisaster.org/Updates (see “Evacuation Assistance”) or call 800-729-3413. You may also use Uber code MILTONRELIEF to receive free Uber ride to a local shelter.

Bus #1: St. Pete Beach, Madeira Beach, Indian Rocks Beach

  2. B- Publix (902 Curley Rd, Dunedin, FL) 09:30-11:00 a.m.

Bus #4: Central Pinellas County

Bus #5: Southern Pinellas County

  2. B- Walmart (3501 34th St S, St. Petersburg, FL) 09:30-11:00 a.m.

A tornado watch has been issued for Pinellas County and Tropical Storm-force winds are expected to begin in our County in the early afternoon today. All barrier island access has been closed and all bridges across Tampa Bay are anticipated to close later this afternoon.
