Pinellas Mobile Assistance Center

 

Business impacted by Hurricane Helene or Hurricane Milton, can take advantage of Florida SBDC Network's Mobile Assistance Center (MAC), taking place at the TradeWinds Island Resort starting today. Attending businesses will receive assistance with the following programs:

  • SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)
  • SBA Physical Disaster Loan
  • Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program

WHERE: TradeWinds Island Resort, 5500 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach, FL 33706

WHEN: Monday, Oct. 14 - Thursday, Oct. 17  from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Now Available for Businesses Impacted by Hurricane Milton

 

FloridaCommerce has activated the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program, making funds available to assist businesses affected by Hurricane Milton.

 

  • Up to $50K for small businesses with up to 100 employees, including sole proprietors.
  • Up to $100K for Agriculture and Aquaculture businesses.
  • Up to $150K for cattle and citrus operations.
  • Businesses must apply at http://FloridaJobs.org/EBL

Power Restoration and Water Availability

The latest information from Duke Energy estimates that most of Pinellas County will have power restored by Tuesday, Oct. 15.

 

As of Monday, Oct. 14, the boil water notice has been lifted for Pinellas County Utilities customers from John’s Pass to Tierra Verde and for St. Petersburg, South Pasadena, and Lealman.Residents and businesses can now resume normal water usage. The boil water notice is still in effect for the City of Gulfport.


Allowing the water to run for at least five minutes before using is highly encouraged.
