VIRTUALLY SCOUT LOCATIONS ANYTIME, ANYWHERE

Virtually everything has gone virtual thanks to COVID-19. To keep up with the trend, and keep film/digital production thriving in St. Pete/Clearwater, we're creating film-friendly location videos that show off the diversity of our destination. The videos highlight our beautiful beaches, historic neighborhoods, wide open parks, unique architecture and more. Researching locations virtually is a safe, easy way to find locations for your next shoot. We release new videos on YouTube every week so click here to subscribe to our channel.

Casting Call: NEW scripted digital/streaming series 

A UNIQUE WAY TO PROMOTE AREA

We're seeking candidates who can work locally in St. Pete/Clearwater for paid supporting roles in a scripted digital/streaming series. The series about an ambitious man who loses everything then reevaluates what defines his life will launch on Visit Florida's new inbound channel, Florida-TV.

Must submit demo reel, headshots and resume.

Did you know there's a handy sunrise/sunset time chart on our website? Simply enter the city closest to your filming location, the shoot month and year and other options such as day length. In seconds you'll get a calendar that displays the sunset or sunrise times and any other info you requested. It doesn't get easier that that!

Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival

December 3 - 6

TBUFF is still planned for this year, as either an in-person or virtual event. Either way, get ready to catch the independent films made by bay area filmmakers, actors, critics, artists and cinephiles that fall through the cracks and end up...underground. Screenings are sure to be interesting and innovative.

Film FL Quarterly Meeting

December 3-4 via Zoom

Events will include Film Florida Committee and Council Meetings and the Film Florida Board of Directors Meeting. All Film Florida members are welcome and encouraged to participate in all meetings, and the Board of Directors Meeting on Friday December 4, 2020 is open to the public.
