PODS, PROTOCOLS AND PPE

These are some of the on-set safety measures being recommended as the producton industry prepares to get back to work. Taking personal responibility for on-set safety will be crucial. Equally important will be ensuring that sets remain clean and healthy at all times. The newly released "Recommendations for Clean and Healthy Production Sets" created by Film Florida breaks set safety down into suggested general steps that all crew can take. BEACHES, POOLS TO REOPEN WITH RESTRICTIONS

The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners issued modified orders on Tuesday allowing for the conditional reopening of public beaches, public beach parking areas and common area swimming pools. Community pools, including those at hotels and motels, at 50 percent of the stated capacity were allowed to reopen at 6 a.m. Thursday morning. The beaches will open Monday, May 4, at 7 a.m. Note that filming permits are still not being issued, but will resume as soon as conditions allow.
