Long-awaited "Zola" in theaters June 30

"Zola," based partly on a viral Twitter thread about a road trip to Tampa gone wrong, hits theaters June 30th.  The film's US theatrical distributor is A24, the same company behind "Moonlight," which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2017.  Considering the buzz "Zola" generated at Sundance 2020 and all it's generating pre-release, A24 might have another winner!  Watch "Zola" at select theaters in St. Pete/Clearwater, where much of the movie was filmed. #Zola @Zolamovie @A24

Film Florida's virtual Annual Meeting will include Film Florida Committee and Council Meetings and the Film Florida Board of Directors Meeting.  All Film Florida members are welcome and encouraged to participate in all meetings.  The Board of Directors Meeting on June 25, 2021 is open to the public.
