This year’s 727 Day was the biggest celebration ever! Your participation was instrumental to its success, and we trust you took full advantage of this initiative as an opportunity to highlight your business.

The numbers speak for themselves: Last week, 727Day.com was the #1 landing page on VisitSPC.com with 24,247 landing page sessions. We had 8,577 mobile passport sign-ups that generated 4,815 total redemptions (including check-ins and/or coupons). More than 1,000 727 shirts were redeemed through the passport in addition to those distributed at the Clearwater Threshers game and St. Pete Pier.

Some of the most popular 727 Day Deals were services or items priced at $7.27, along with the always popular BOGO (buy-one-get-one) offers.

For our St. Pete-Clearwater hotel and industry partners, we have joined together with surrounding Tampa Bay area destinations to form the new Gulf Coast HSMAI chapter. We are now looking for volunteers to serve as board members.

Visit St. Pete-Clearwater has invested in and joined to create this valuable chapter for our hotel and other industry partners’ sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to be able to have a chapter right here in our home area. Previously only Miami (South Florida) and Orlando (Central Florida) chapters existed in Florida.
