This year's 727 Day is ready to return as a full weekend-long celebration!

As part of the "From Visitors with Love" campaign, 727 Day serves as a massive thank you to Pinellas County locals while shining a light on how much tourism fuels the local economy. To make this extended weekend memorable, the goal is to roll out exclusive local promotions via 727day.com, and businesses are encouraged to submit creative, themed offers—such as $7.27 admission fees, $7.27 discounts, or special buy-one-get-one deals—using the online sign-up form.

Participating in this community-wide event is completely free, offering a fantastic opportunity to boost your brand's visibility. The entire celebration, along with the featured business deals, will be heavily marketed through local media outlets, social media campaigns, and strategic community partnerships to guarantee widespread engagement. It is a seamless way to connect with residents and show appreciation for their role in making the region thrive.

727 Day has a proven track record of driving engagement. Last year, 137 participating partners received at least one redemption, ensuring widespread visibility and direct foot traffic across the board. The initiative saw an incredible 8,577 mobile passport sign-ups and 4,815 total redemptions.

Enchant is making its highly anticipated return to St. Pete for the first time since 2023! From Nov. 20 through Dec. 27, Tropicana Field will be transformed into a spectacular winter wonderland featuring the World's Largest Christmas Light Maze.

This year's event introduces an all-new immersive storyline, "Night of the Nutcrackers," where guests will wander through millions of twinkling lights to search for eight missing holiday guardians. Alongside the dazzling maze, the event marks a festive return to full-scale non-sporting events for the ballpark, bringing back beloved traditions like the Ice Skating Trail, a local artisan holiday marketplace, seasonal food and drink, and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) achieved a historic milestone last month, marking May 2026 as the biggest May in the airport’s history. Passenger traffic surged by 3% over last year, bringing the monthly domestic total to 250,442 passengers.

PIE's regional connectivity is set to expand significantly this fall with Allegiant introducing new service to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Columbia, Missouri. Additionally, BermudAir will debut exciting new international routes to Belize, Turks and Caicos, and Anguilla starting this December.

Tampa International Airport (TPA) is getting a boost in Canadian connectivity this winter. Porter Airlines announced a new non-stop route from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM) in Southern Ontario to TPA, launching on Dec. 18, 2026.

The seasonal service will operate four times a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), making it easier than ever for Canadian travelers to escape to the sun and explore the Tampa Bay region. The flights will be operated on Porter’s state-of-the-art, 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, marking the airline's first-ever route into TPA.
